In large bowl, combine 2 cups all-purpose flour, sugar, undissolved yeast, caraway seed, and salt
- 4 to 4-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 envelopes Fleischmann's® RapidRise Yeast
- 1 tablespoon Spice Islands® Whole Caraway Seed
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups very warm water (120° to 130°F)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups rye flour
- 1 egg white, lightly beaten with 1 tablespoon water

- 3 large russet potatoes, peeled
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter, melted

- 3/4 cup lukewarm water
- 1 (.25-ounce) packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup, plus 1 teaspoon sugar
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- Pinch salt
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 to 6 cups peanut or other neutrally-flavored oil, for frying
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
How to make whole cauliflower in a slow cooker

If cauliflower has greens still attached to the bottom, leave them on
- 1 large whole cauliflower
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped sage
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested

Mediterranean Grilled Lamb Steaks

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers
- 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1 Turkish or 1/2 California bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 2 (3-by 1-inch) strips orange zest
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 (14-to 15-ounces) can diced fire-roasted tomatoes
- 1 (14-ounces) can artichoke hearts, drained and quartered
- 1/2 cup pitted Kalamata olives, coarsely chopped

Poppy Seed Dressing

Except for the oil, whirl all of the ingredients in a mini-blender
- 1/3 cup white sugar (2 T Splenda blend + 1/2 T sugar for half recipe)
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon onion
- 12 T olive oil
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)

Sprinkle both sides of the duck breast with salt and pepper Cook skin side down in a frying pan for eight minutes ...
- Two duck breasts (350 grams each)
- 450 g stoned Montmorency cherries (non sweet). Keep the juice also.

- 2 bay leaves
- 3-4 sprigs flat-leaf parsley

- 2 leeks, white and light green parts, cleaned and sliced
