- 11 tbs. butter, cut into pieces
- 5 oz. unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
- 4 eggs, at room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 oz. nuts (1 cup)
Chef Salad

- 10 cups bite sized pieces salad greens
- 1 cup thin stips of cooked chicken
- 4 oz. cooked or smoked ham
- 5 oz. cheese, cut into thin strips

- 1 cup pecan pieces or halves
- 6 to 6-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 envelopes Fleischmann's® RapidRise Yeast
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 3/4 cup warm water (120° to 130°F)
- 3/4 cup warm milk (120° to 130°F)

Greek Christmas Cookies

Preheat oven to 350 F. Melt butter; let cool slightly
- For the cookies:
- 1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons whiskey
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt

Crispy Parmesan Chicken

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mis crushed crackers, cheese, and spices together in a shallow pan
- 3/4 cup crushed saltine crackers or corn flakes
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 tbs. evaporated mil
- 3 tbs. oil
- 1 chicken, cut into servince pieces
Baked Penne

Cook the pasta. Preheat the oven to 475 degrees
- 1 lb. penne
- 1 yellow pepper, diced
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 1 eggplant, diced

Asparagus and Leek Strudel

- 8 sheets filo pastry
- 80 grams butter, melted
- 1/2 ½ tsp. sesame seeds
- 500 grams fresh asparagus

- 350 grams leeks, sliced

- 60 grams grated Swiss cheese
- 60 ml cream
- 2 tbs. chopped fresh oregano

Poppy Seed Muffins

- 2 cups (280 grams) all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup (150 grams) granulated white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- Zest of one lemon
- 1 cup (240 ml) plain yogurt (do not use non fat yogurt)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Lemon Glaze: (Optional)
- 1/2 cup (60 grams) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Lemon Zest - The yellow outer rind of the lemon that contains the fruit's flavor and perfume. The rind being the outer skin of the lemon which consists of both the yellow zest and white membrane (pith).
