David's Healthy Chicken & Vegetable Stir-Fry

Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper, then stir-fry the strips with ginger and garlic in 2 tsp
- 5 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2 inch strips
- 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Tbsp. fresh ginger, grated
- 4 tsp. sesame oil, divided
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 Tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1-1/2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 4 celery stalks, thinly sliced
- 1 medium carrot, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 cup reduced sodium chicken stock
- Brown rice, cooked according to package directions
SOURDOUGH PANCAKES OR WAFFLES

In a small bowl mix the baking mix and the soda together
- 1/2 c. active sourdough starter
- 1/2 c. milk (or yogurt, kefir, buttermilk, sour cream or nut milk)
- 1 egg
- 1 T. fat (oil or butter)
- 1/2 c. Bisquick
- 1/2 t. baking soda

Combine all the ingredients in a medium bowl, and stir to combine
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 2 tablespoons Essence, recipe follows
- 6 tablespoons kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

- 12 ounces fettuccine
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 2 cups (1 pint) heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- Salsa:
- 2 large oranges
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
