1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- COOKIE:
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- FILLING:
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 7 oz marshmallow fluff
Towering Apple Pie

1. Prebake the pie crust. 2
- CRUMBS:
- 1 pie crust(for fruit tart)
- 1/2 cup+2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup margarine
- FILLING:
- 5 cortland apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Avocado Cucumber Salad

1. Combine cucumber, scallions and avocado
- 1 pound seedless cucumber,washed and chopped into chunks
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced
- 1 large avocado,pitted and diced
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
- juice of half a lime
- salt and hot sauce
- chopped parsley to garnish
Meat Loaf Topped Potato Kugel

1. Mix meat ingredients together place on bottom of pan
- MEAT MIXTURE:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1 onion - dice and saute
- 3 T bread crumbs
- 3 T ketchup
- KUGEL MIXTURE:
- 4 potatoes
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/4 cup seltzer
Soy Noodle Salad

- 1 box angle hair pasta
- 1/2 red pepper
- 1/2 yellow pepper
- 4 bunches scallions
- snow peas
- DRESSING
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Roasted Jalapeno Pepper Dip

1.Preheat oven to 450. On a baking sheet, combine jalapenos, green pepper, garlic, and olive oil
- RAW INGREDIENTS:
- 4 jalapenos
- 1 green pepper
- 6 garlic cloves
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 jalapeno
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ bunch parsley
- Juice of half a lemon
- 4 tablespoons (or more) mayonnaise
Spinach Salad With Lemon Shallots Vinaigrette Dressing

1. Peel and finely dice shallots
- SALAD:
- 1 bag baby spinach
- 1 box cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds(optional)
- DRESSING:
- 2 small shallots
- 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp. white wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Hearty Mushroom Barley Soup

- 1 bay leaf,crumbled
- 1 large onion,diced
- 3 tbsp. oil
- 1 box fresh mushrooms,sliced
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 8 cups water
- 2/3 cup barley
- 1 stalk celery,diced
- 2 carrots, peeled and diced
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Tomato Salad

- 6 plum tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 6 scallions
- 4 tbsp. oil
- 1/2 lemon (squeezed)
- salt and pepper to taste

- 3 3 3 cubes frozen dill
