- 4 tomato, firm ripe
- 1/2 cup cracker crumbs, finely ground
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Marinated Mushrooms

WARNING: These mushrooms are addictive
- Marinated Antipasto Mushrooms Recipe:
- 1 pound of brown or white mushrooms, or a mix of both
- 4 tablespoons of good extra virgin olive oil, or more if needed
- 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of red onions or shallots, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons of fresh oregano, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns
- 1/4 teaspoon coriander seeds (optional)

Chess pie is one of my favorite pies but the traditional pie made with vinegar just didn't work out for this recipe
- 3 cups white sugar
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 6 eggs
- 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cups whole milk
- 3 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 stick butter, melted

Combine the ketchup, tomato paste, chipotle peppers and cocoa powder in a large mixing bowl
- 2/3 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 ounces chipotle peppers in adobo, with adobo sauce that clings to them, chopped fine
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 6 ounces ruffled kettle-style barbecue potato chips
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 medium carrot, cut into 6 pieces
- 1 Fresno chile, seeded
- 1 medium onion, cut into 8 pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 pound ground chuck
- 1 pound ground sirloin
- 1 pound ground pork
- 3 largeeggs

- 2 large onions, thinly sliced

- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, rinsed
- 2 cups (or more) low-sodium chicken broth
- 5 ounces baby spinach (about 8 lightly packed cups)

- 2 large onions, chopped
- 3/4 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled

- 1 bottle (18 ounces) honey barbecue sauce
- 1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (15¼ ounces) lima beans, rinsed and drained
