- Topping:
- 1 pkg (18.25 oz [515 gl) white cake mix
- 2/3 cup butter, melted
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 2/3 cups butterscotch chips (1 pkg [10 oz)
- 1-1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
Vegetable-Beef Soup

In 6-quart Dutch oven over medium-high heat, in hot oil, cook beef until well browned, turning occasionally
- 2 tablespoons salad oil
- 12 pounds beef shank cross cuts, each cut about 1 inch thick
- 1 large onion, cut up
- 1/2 cup cut-up celery tops
- 1 sprig parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 cups water
- 1 can (16 ounces) tomatoes, cut up
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 2 medium carrots, diced

- 1/4 cup white cooking wine
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup plus 2 TBS olive oil
- 2 TBS ketchup
- 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 TBS ground ginger
- kosher salt & fresh black pepper
- 1 TSP red pepper flakes
- 1 TSP garlic powder
- 1 (1 1/4 lb) flank steak (we couldn't find a flank steak, so we used rib eye)
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow pepper, sliced
- 4 green onions (white & green parts), sliced into 1/4" pieces
- 12 (8") tortillas (we used whole wheat)

The original recipe calls for an icing to be added I don't like it as I find it too sweet, but included it in case...
- ICING:
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Royal Round Steak

- 1 to 2 pounds beef round steak or stew meat
- 1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 envelope (1 ounce) dry onion soup mix
- 2 cans (10 3/4 ounces each) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted

- 3 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
- 5 6-inch corn tortillas
- 1/2 cup chopped onion (1 medium)

- 1 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 to 2 canned chipotle chile peppers in adobo sauce, chopped
- or half of a 4-ounce can diced green chile peppers, drained

- 8 eggs
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese or crumbled queso fresco (2 ounces)
