Walnut Spice Cake

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 round pans, 9 x 1 1/2 inches
- 2 1/2 cups Gold Medal all-purpose flour or Softsilk cake flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp ground cloves
- 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup chopped California walnuts
- Caramel Frosting
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Pecan Cranberry Salad

1.Spray a 6-cup mold with nonstick cooking spray
- 1 (15-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained, 1 cup of juice reserved
- 1 cup water
- 1 (3-ounce) package orange gelatin
- 1 (3-ounce) package cherry gelatin
- 1 (16-ounce) can whole-berry cranberry sauce
- 1 (6-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1/2 cup chopped celery (optional)
Chili

Combine all ingredients, simmer and stir often
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 cup onions; chopped & sauted in magarine
- 3 lbs hamburger meat; browed, salt & pepper seasoned to taste& drained
- 1 (2 oz) large bottle Mexene chili powder
- 2 qt cans tomatoes; beat up
- 1 large can of tomato juice
- 2 or 3 cans pinto beans or kidney beans
- 1 tsp to 1 Tbsp sausage seasoning (HOT)
- minced garlic
- salt & pepper to taste
LIBBY'S® Famous Pumpkin Pie

MIX sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves in small bowl
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 large eggs
- 1 can (15 oz.) LIBBY'S® 100% Pure Pumpkin
- 1 can (12 fl. oz.) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
- 1 unbaked 9-inch (4-cup volume) deep-dish pie shell
- Whipped cream (optional)
Pastry Twists

THAW pastry sheet at room temperature 30 min
- TIP TIP: Assorted Fillings:
- 1/2 package Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- Assorted Fillings
- Parmesan Cheese: Mix 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley and 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves, crushed.
- Choco-Berry: Spread 2 tbsp. seedless raspberry jam and sprinkle with 1/3 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate pieces.
- Cinnamon-Sugar: Mix 2 tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. ground cinnamon.
Green Salad with Strawberry Balsamic Dressing

In container of an electric blender, combine frozen strawberries, vinegar, salt, and pepper; process until smooth
- 1 10 oz pkg frozen sliced stawberries, in syrup, thawed
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- Green leaf lettuce
- Strawberries, mandarin oranges, sliced almonds
Easy Blackberry Cobbler

Preheat oven to 375°. Place blackberries in a lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish; sprinkle with lemon juice
- 4 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Garnish: fresh mint sprig
Chocolate Pecan Pie

Mix & pour into unbaked pie crust
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 1/2 Tbsp cocoa
- 1 small can pet milk
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 2 eggs; beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 stick melted butter
Chicken and Dumplings

Boil chicken breasts in water with minced onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until done
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp crisco
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
German Sweet Chocolate Cream Cheese Brownies

Microwave* chocolate and margarine in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until margarine is melted

- 1 pkg (4 oz) Baker's German Sweet Chocolate
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Cream Cheese Topping
- 4 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp all purpose flour
