Trim fat from pork shoulder
- Substitutions:
- 1 pound pork boneless shoulder
- 3 medium carrots, cut into 1/4 inch
- 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh or 3/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 3 cups hot cooked spaghetti.
- Pork loin chops make it more tender
