CHICKEN TO GO BISCUITS

- 2 tbs butter
- 2 tbs flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Dash pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
- 1 1/4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced drained mushrooms
- 1 can Pillsbury Grands Buttermilk biscuits
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 cups cornflakes, crushed
4 B’s Old Fashioned Cream of Tomato Soup

- 32 ounces canned diced tomatoes
- 9 ounces chicken broth (undiluted)
- 1 ounce butter
- 2 tblsp sugar
- 1 tblsp chopped onion
- 2 cups cream
- A pinch of baking soda
Individual Chocolate Souffles with Chocolate Kahlua Sauce

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- INGREDIENTS for Chocolate Kahlua Sauce:
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 Tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 Tablespoon all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 egg whites
- 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 to 3 Tablespoons powdered sugar for dusting
- 4 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Kahlua
- 1 cup whipping cream, sweetened and whipped
Corn and Black Bean Salsa

- Mix the following ingredients together several hours before serving:
- 15 oz. can of black beans, rinsed and drained
- 11 oz. can of mexicorn (has peppers in it – regular corn would work) rinsed and drained
- 1 package of Italian dressing (Good Seasons or other brand)
- ¼ Cup vinegar
- ¼ Cup oil
- Several chopped fresh tomatoes
- Chopped green onions
- Cilantro, if desired
- 2 chopped ripe avocadoes (I usually add these just before serving)

- 3/4 cup nut pieces
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup cream or evaporated milk
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
- 1 cup cream or evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Rhubarb Bread

- 1 1/2 c diced raw rhubarb
- 1 1/2 c brown sugar
- 2/3 c. oil
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1 c. sour milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- pinch cinamon
- Procedure:
- Topping- 1/3 c. granulated sugar mixed with 1 Tbsp. melted butter.
Kay Norum Rolls

- ½ cup warm water 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cup scalded milk
- 1/3 cup shortening 5-1/2 cups flour (approximately)
- 1/2 cup sugar
Wacky Cake

Maple Oat Bread

- 1 cup boiling water
- l pkg. (1/4 oz.) yeast
- 1/3 c. warm water (110-115 degrees)
- ½ c. maple syrup
- 2 t. canola oil
- 1-1/2 t. salt
- 3-1/2 to 4 cups flour
- Topping: 1 egg white, slightly beaten; 2 T. old fashioned oats
