Turkey Pot Pie

Combine 1/3 cup flour, salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper in a bowl
- 2 pounds boneless turkey breasts, cut into 1/2" cubes
- 2/3 cup flour, divided
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 cups frozen peas and carrots, or mixed vegetables
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 ounces can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup sherry
- ***CORNBREAD***
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
BUTTERMILK DRESSING (RANCH)

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and whisk until well blended
- 1 * 1 cup mayonnaise (low or fat-free may be used)
- 1 * 1 cup low-fat buttermilk
- 1 * 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 * 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 2 * 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives
- 1 * 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
- 2 * 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
- * salt & freshly ground black pepper
Yan's Cucumber Salad

Cut cucumber in half lengthwise, then cut each half crosswise into 3/4-inch sections
- 1 large English cucumber
- 1 teaspoon salt
- DRESSING
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons ground toasted Szechuan peppercorns
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons each sesame oil and sugar
- 3/4 teaspoons chili oil
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Tasty BBQ Corn on the Cobb

Preheat grill for medium-high heat
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/8 tsp dried oregano
- 1 pinch onion powder
- cayenne pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 6 ears corn, husked and cleaned
Stir Fried Salt and Pepper Shrimp

Soak the shrimp in warm, lightly salted water for 5 minutes
- 1 * 1 pound large shrimp
- 2 * 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 * 1/2 teaspoon sea salt or kosher salt
- 1 * 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, white pepper or Szechuan peppercorn, or to taste
- 3 * 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, for stir-frying
- 1 * 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 * 1 red chilli pepper, deseeded and chopped, optional or 1 tsp crushed dried chilies
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup chopped green onion

- 2 CUPS ONIONS (CHOPPED)
- 4 CUPS POTATOES (DICED)
- 28 OZ TOMATOES (CHOPPED)
- 3 CUPS BABY CLAMS
- 6 SLICES BACON
- 16 CUPS WATER + JUICE

Slow Cooker Super-Duper Pot Roast Recipe

In a skillet brown roast on all sides in hot oil
- 2 1/2 - 3 pound beef chuck pot roast
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 1/2 cups V-8 juice
- 1 cup Burgundy wine
- 1/2 can beef broth (7 ounces)
- sprinkling of coarse salt
- 1 tsp. each of basil, thyme & parsley
- 1/2 tsp. each of salt & pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 3 carrots, chopped into 1/2" pieces
- 1 large onion, minced

Drunken Prawns

Marinate the shrimp in the remaining briefly
- jumbo prawns, shelled
- 1 shot tequila
- 1 jalepeno pepper, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped cilentro
- fresh lime juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Garlic Scallops

- 1 1/2 pounds bay scallops
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 to 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced (use more or less to taste)
