  • 1 (16 ounce) bag white pearl onions, frozen
  • 1 slice white bread, cut up
  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole tomatoes (and juice)
  • 2 tablespoons dry onion, minced
  • 3 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 (10 1/4 ounce) can tomato soup
  • salt
  • pepper

Toss everything in the crock pot

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • Large can of diced tomatoes (can use plain, or chili accents)
  • 1 large can of black beans undrained (or red kidney beans)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup salsa (pick your own heat!)
  • 1 can green chili's diced (opt)
  • 1 can corn, undrained
  • 1 can tomato sauce (last time I didn't have this so I threw in chicken stock and some extra salsa)
  • 2 t of cumin
  • salt & pepper to taste
