Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta Recipe

My children really enjoy this effortless entree I concocted to duplicate the flavor of my favorite hamburger
- 8 ounces uncooked penne pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 6 bacon strips, diced
- 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
- Barbecue sauce and prepared mustard, optional
Cheesy Cauliflower "Popcorn"

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F
- 2 large heads cauliflower, broken into popcorn-size florets
- 1/4 cup coconut oil or olive oil
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated onion or garlic
- Several pinches cayenne (optional)
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Oliver Oz’s Broc-Cauli Soup

Sauté the garlic and onion in olive oil for 10 minutes
- 1 cup cauliflower steamed
- 1 cup broccoli, steamed
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 head of garlic
- 1/2 onion
- 1 oz grated cheddar cheese
- salt
- pepper
- olive oil

Brown ground beef in skillet over medium heat; drain - set aside

- 2 pounds low-fat ground beef
- 2 cups water
- 1 large onion, peeled, chopped
- 1 Serrano chili pepper
- 1 (15 ounce) can chili beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans
- 1 (15 1/4 ounce) can yellow corn
- 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 2 packets taco seasoning
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

This are extremely satisfying, tastes like a Suzy-Q, but way better for you!
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable shortening
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 cup 1% low-fat milk
- 3/4 cup marshmallow cream
Carrot Raisin Buckwheat Muffins

I didn't add raisins to these this time
- 2 1/2 cups buckwheat flour
- 1/2 cup tapioca flour
- 1/2 cup organic brown sugar, Sucanat, or maple sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 2 cups applesauce
- 1/4 cup melted virgin coconut oil or grapeseed oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1/2 to 1 cup raisins, soaked for 10 minutes in 1/4 cup water (then drain)
Beef Jerky

Real jerky also happens to be the ideal high-protein, low-fat snack
- Appropriate for Phase Two of The Fast Metabolism Diet
- Makes 4 to 5 servings
- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds organic beef round steak
- 1/4 cup tamari
- Juice of 1 lime or lemon
- 1/2 tsp. onion salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. sea salt
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- Trim and discard all fat from the meat. Cut into strips approximately 5 inches long and 1/2 inch wide.
Lime Yogurt Pie*

- 2 cartons (6 oz. ea.) Key lime pie yogurt
- 1 carton (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 graham cracker crust (9 inch)

- 8 bacon slices
- 8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 (10 oz) cans roasted garlic cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup flour (all purpose or gluten free blend)
- Salt and pepper to taste
