Cut butter ito flour and salt with pastry blender until it resembles coarse meal or size of small peas
- Single 10" Crust:
- 3/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons butter, margarine or
- shortening.
- 1 1/2 Cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 to 4 Tablespoons ice water
- 10" Crusts:
- 1 Cup butter, margarin or shortening.
- 2 2/3 Cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 7 to 8 Tablespoons ice water
Oat Flour Muffins (Wheatless)

Mix dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl
- 2 1/2 cups oat flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 tablespoon melted shortening
Homemade hummus

1. Place chickpeas, lemon juice, oil, and garlic in food processor or blender and pulse until chickpeas are mashed
- 1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), reserve liquid
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- Sea salt (to taste; optional)

- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- 1 1/2 cups oats {use certified gluten-free oats if on a gluten-free diet}
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts {or nuts of choice}
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup melted virgin coconut oil plus extra for greasing pan
- 2 pints fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 large eggs, beaten well
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- Optional, Greek or lactose free yogurt for serving
