Golden Blueberry Pancakes

Fluffy homemade pancakes are much better tasting than pancakes from a mix
- 2 cups all-purpose flour 500 mL
- 1 cup whole wheat flour 250 mL
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar 15 mL
- 1 tbsp baking powder 15 mL
- 1/2 tsp baking soda 2 mL
- 1/2 tsp salt 2 mL
- 3 eggs 3
- 2-1/2 cups Milk 625 mL
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt 125 mL
- 1/4 cup butter, melted 50 mL
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries 500 mL
- 2 tbsp butter for cooking (approx.) 30 mL
Minted Broccoli Slaw

combine grated cucumber and broccoli slaw and mint
- 1 medium cuc seeded and grated
- 1 bag (12 oz) broccoli coleslaw
- 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh mint
- 3/4 cup greek-style yogurt
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

- 11/4 cups buttermilk, milk, or yogurt (or 11/4 cups milk plus 1 tablespoon white vinegar; see Step 2), plus more as needed
- 2 tablespoons butter or extra virgin olive oil
- 11/2 cups medium-grind cornmeal
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 11/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar, plus more if you like sweet corn bread

- For the Hot Milk Cake:
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 cups sifted, all purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

Bbq Ginger Ale Pork Ribs

- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar

- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce

Cottage Cheese Pancakes - gluten free

- 1 C cottage cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1-2 tbs sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 C gluten free all purpose flour*
- a scant to 1/4 tsp xanthan gum IF your all purpose flour requires it.

1. place baking stone in middle rack of oven
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temp
- 1 egg room temp
- 6 oz vanilla yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt (fine grind)

1. To Make the Crust: Using a food processor, pulse to combine the flour, salt and sugar

- •2 cups all-purpose flour
- •1/2 teaspoon salt

- •2/3 cup (11 tablespoons) chilled unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- •4 to 5 tablespoons ice water
- Topping:
- •1/2 cup pecans
- •1/3 cup sugar
- •3 tablespoons dark brown sugar, packed
- •1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- •1/4 teaspoon salt

- •1/3 cup (5 1/3 tablespoons) chilled unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
