Pumpkin Slice

Mix and pat crust ingredients into a 9" x 13" pan
- CRUST:
- 2 1/2 cups graham wafer crumbs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4-1/2 cup melted margarine
- FILLING:
- 2 pkgs Dream Whip
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 small tin pumpkin
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1 box instant butterscotch pudding mix
- 1 container Cool Whip
Hearty Barley Bake

In a large skillet, saute the mushrooms, carrots, onion and garlic in oil until tender, transfer to a large bowl
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup thinly sliced carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, mined
- 1 tsp oil
- 12 oz pork sausage
- 1 1/2 cup cooked barley
- 1 can cream style corn
- 1 pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp dried savory
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried marjoram
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Maple Lemon Fruit Dip

Serve this easy and quick dip with fruit or as a topping for ice cream
- 1/2 cup golden corn syrup
- 4 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. maple flavouring
- 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
Shepherd's Pie

Heat oven to 350F. Brown ground beef and onion
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp beef bouillon
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 can niblets corn
- 2-3 cups mashed potatoes
Cauliflower Casserole

Cook cauliflower unil tender, drain
- 1 head cauliflower
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms or 1 can
- 1/3 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1/8 tsp dry mustard
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup corn flake crumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Mustard Sauce

- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 5 tsp dry mustard
- 2/3 cup vinegar
Creamed Dill Potatoes

Boil early potatoes until tender
- 4 lb new baby potatoes
- 2 tbs butter
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups real whipping cream
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh dill
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Turkey Enchilada Casserole

In a large saucepan, cook onion and green pepper in 2 tbsp butter until tender
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cups chopped cooked turkey
- 1 4-oz can green chili peppers, rinsed, seeded and chopped
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp ground coriander seed (optional)
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 12 6 inch tortillas
Chocolate Haystacks

- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 3 1/2 cups quick cooking oatmeal

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
