Stir-Fried Shanghai Noodles

Add the noodles to boiling salted water to loosen
- 1 pkg fresh cooked Shanghai noodles
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 4 oz lean pork, cut into 1/4 inch julienne matchsticks
- 4 oz boneless chicken thigh meat, cut into 1/4 inch julienne matchsticks
- 3 tbsp canola oil
- 12 oz Chinese or Napa cabbage
- 1 stalk celery, finely sliced on the bias
- 2 cups bean sprouts (optional)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
Hot Sauce

Combine all ingredients
- 1 cup chili sauce
- 1/4 cup Miracle Whip
- 1 tbsp horseradish
Cedar Plank Pork Loin

Immerse the plank in water, placing a weight on top
- 1 cedar plank
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- Grated peel of 1 medium orange
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 boneless pork loin
Puffed Wheat Squares

- 8 1/2 cups puffed wheat
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup

- 1 10oz tin mushroom soup
- 1 6oz pkg cream cheese

- 1/4 cup cold water

- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 5oz tin crab meat
- 1/2 tsp curry
Teriyaki Sauce

- 1/2 cup soya sauce
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 clove grlic, crushed
- 1 " piece ginger root, crushed
- 1 " piece lemon peel
Cinnamon Bun Crunch Icebox Cookies

These will remind you of freshly baked cinnamon sticky buns
- DOUGH:
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg white
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/5 tsp salt
- FILLING:
- 2 tbsp liquid honey
- 2 tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp finely chopped walnuts or pecans
- Vanilla Drizzle
Bread Stuffing

Allow 3/4 cup stufing for each pound of chicken or turkey
- 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 1/2 cup chopped celery (with leaves)
- 1 cup margarine or butter
- 9 cups soft bread cubes
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp dried sage leaves
- 1 tsp dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Chicken Orzo Skillet

Cook chicken until well browned in heated oil at medium-high heat in large skillet
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 3/4 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 2 cups sliced button mushroom
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can Cream of Chicken soup
- 2/3 cup water
- 3/4 cup orzo
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil leaves, plus
- 2 basil leaves, cut into fine strips
- 1 tomato, diced
Rolled Oats Raisin Cookies

- 3/4 cup margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup raisins, well washed and squeezed dry
- 1 cup chocolate chips
