  • 5 oz tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp torn fresh basil leaves, plus extra leaves to garnish

  • 1 lb (500 g) extra-lean ontario ground beef or ground turkey

  • 1 tsp (5 mL) dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper
  • Topping:
  • 2 cups (500 mL) mashed cooked Ontario Sweet potatoes

  • 2 15 oz. cans pureed pumpkin (NOT Pumpkin Pie filling!!)
  • 8 oz. ricotta cheese
  • 1 tsp. ground cardamom
  • 16 oz. (2 boxes) Whole Wheat lasagna, cooked
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 5 sage leaves for garnish
