Cherry Nut Bars

In large bowl mix flour, oats, sugar, pecans, baking soda and butter
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups quick oats
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/4 cups melted butter
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
Fifteens

They're called fifteens because you use 15 of each of the main ingredients
- 15 large marshmallows
- 15 digestive biscuits
- 15 glacé cherries, halved (optional)
- 397 g tin of condensed milk
- 1 cup sweetened flaked coconuts
Chicken and Apple Patties

1. In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat
- 2 tbsps olive loil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup finely chopped, peeled apple
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsps lemon juice
- 1 1/2 pounds ground chicken
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
The Shooter's Sandwich

This weekend, I had the best sandwich of my entire life
- 1 Round loaf of bread. I used soda bread (not my first choice) which I wasn't sure about, but it worked perfectly.)
- 2 rib-eye steaks. (Yes. Two. This explains why it's not cheap. And why it'll give you a heart-attack.)
- Portabella mushrooms. I used mini ones, because they looked yummy. They were.
- Five shallots.
- Couple of garlic cloves.

Base: 1. Preheat the oven to 350 F
- Base:
- 2 ½ cups flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
- 1/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Topping:
- 6 oz. chocolate chips (the higher the cocoa content, the better)
- ½ cup crunchy peanut butter
- ½ cup coconut
