Be 'wiched Biscuits

A 1/4-cup (#16) portion scoop can be used to portion the batter
- 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour (10 ounces)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup Asiago cheese
- 3/4 teaspoon table salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup buttermilk (cold)
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly (about 5 minutes), plus 2 tablespoons melted butter for brushing biscuits
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon old bay
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley

Preheat the oven to 425. Lightly grease a baking sheet
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2/3 shortening
- 1 cup buttermilk
SPICY HORSERADISH MUSTARD

Combine all ingredients except eggs and horseradish in the top of a double boiler
- 1 c. dry mustard (equivalent to one 4 oz. can)
- 3/4 c. white wine vinegar
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 tbsp. brown sugar, lightly packed
- 2 tsp. onion salt
- 1 tsp. caraway seeds
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp. horseradish

Heat your oven to 400ºF. In a large saute pan, brown the sausage
- 1 lb sausage, casing removed and crumbled (preferably Breakfast, but Italian would work nice too)
- 1 medium butternut squash or pumpkin, peeled & chopped medium
- 1/3 c fresh cranberries
- 1/4 c almond flour or crushed pork rinds
- 2 T F.O.C., melted (sausage renderings, bacon fat, olive oil, butter)
- 2 T rosemary
- 2 T sage

- Beef Stew:
- 2 pounds stewing beef (cut into 1 to 1½ inch cubes)
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

- 3/4 cup packed shredded light sharp cheddar cheese

- 4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder, plus 1 teaspoon
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 large eggs, separated
- 3 cups whole milk
- 3/4 cup butter, melted, plus 2 teaspoons unmelted for the griddle
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups blueberries or slice bananas and 1 cup chopped walnuts
