Cinnamon-Raisin Soft Pretzels

- 1 * 1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
- 1-1/2 * 1-1/2 cups warm water (110° to 115°)
- 2 * 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 * 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 * 2 cups cake flour
- 2 to 2 * 2 to 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 * 3/4 cup raisins
- 2 * 2 tablespoons baking soda
- 2 * 2 cups hot water (120° to 130°)
- 3 * 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3/4 * 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 * 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- Cream together:
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil (highly recommended to not use a substitute)
- 2 eggs
- Add:
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup milk (highly recommend using a higher fat content, not skim)
- 2 cups flour (gluten free flour works great !)
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder

- 1/2 * 1/2 cup warm 2% milk (110° to 115°)
- 6 * 6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 * 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 * 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 * 1 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1-1/2 * 1-1/2 cups warm half-and-half cream (110° to 115°)
- 6 * 6 egg yolks, lightly beaten
- 1 * 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling (or use a cream cheese filling)

- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cranberry Pecan Salad

- 3.4 oz (about 3/4 cup) flour
- 3.6 oz whole-wheat flour (about 3/4 cup)
- 3 T sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 T canola oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg white
