1. Preheat oven to 350°F
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour*

- Grated rind of 2 lemons

Maple Syrup Spice Bread

- 2 1/2 cups(625 mL) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp (10 mL) baking powder
- 1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
- Pinch ground nutmeg
- 2/3 cup (160 mL) sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) butter, melted
- 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
Nut-free Vegan Cheese Sauce

Add water, sesame seeds and lemon juice to the jug of your high powered blender
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

The Tourtière Recipe

1) Saute the onions and garlic and red pepper flakes in the olive oil and set aside
- 1 pound ground pork

- 1/2 cup gram spelt flour
