- 14 oz. can of crushed pineapple, well drained
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp almond flavoring
- 1 envelope of dessert topping (prepared)
- 15 oz. frozen sliced strawberries in syrup, thawed
- 2 tbsp grenadine syrup (or 2 tbsp granulated sugar)
- 6 maraschino cherries

- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tsp prepared mustard
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp lemon juice
- 3 hard-cooked eggs, coarsely chopped
- 1 tbsp minced green onion
NANAIMO BARS

- BOTTOM LAYER:
- 1/2 cup butter/margarine
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 5 tbsp cocoa
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 3/4 cups graham wafer crumbs
- 1 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
- Melt first three ingredients in top of double boiler or in heavy saucepan. Add egg and stir to cook and thicken. Remove from heat. Stir in crumbs, coconut and nuts. Press firmly into ungreased 9 x 13
