In 2 qt. saucepan, mix apples, brown sugar, 1 T
- 1 1/2 c. (1 1/2 medium)thinly sliced, peeled apples
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 T. water
- 1 t. lemon juice
- 1 T. flour
- 1 T. sugar
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 T. butter
- 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1 tube from 15 oz box refrigerated pie crust
- 1 egg
Strawberry Dessert Nachos

Combine strawberries, ⅓ cup sugar, and amaretto in a bowl
- 3 cups sliced strawberries
- ⅓ cup sugar
- ¼ cup amaretto
- ½ cup fat-free sour cream
- ½ cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 2 T sugar
- ⅛t ground cinnamon
- 6 (7") flour tortillas
- Butter flavored cooking spray
- 2 t cinnamon sugar
- 2 T sliced almonds, toasted
- 2 t shaved semi-sweet chocolate
Texas Sheet Cake

Preheat oven to 375°. Coat a 13 x 9-inch pan with cooking spray, and dust with 2 teaspoons flour

- 1-1/2 pounds fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup

In a bowl, beat the egg whites, milk, flour, butter and salt until smooth
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 cup fat-free milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cups chopped peeled apples
- 1/2 cup apple jelly
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Spicy Tomato and Bean Soup

In large saucepan, combine all ingredients except sour cream; mix well
- 1 (15 oz) can spicy chili beans, undrained
- 1 (11.5 oz) can vegetable juice
- 1 large tomato, seeded, coarsely chopped
- 1 c. frozen corn
- 1/3 c. sliced green onions
- 1 T. chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 to 1/2 t. chili powder
- 2 T. light sour cream

- 1/2 cup. brown sugar
- 1/4 cup. margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 cup. plain low-fat yogurt
- 1/2 cup. unsweetened applesauce
- 1 3/4 cups. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 oz. light cream cheese , softened
- 1 1/2 Tbs. skim milk
- 1 1/2 cups. peeled, chopped Granny Smith apples
- 1/4 cup. brown sugar
Quick Carrot and Raisin Salad

- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sliced almonds
- 1 pound matchstick-cut carrots
- 3 tablespoons fat-free mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon bottled minced garlic
