ITALIAN LEMONADE

Cook sugar and water slowly for 10 minutes
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 pint water
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- Few grains salt

In large bowl beat egg yolks, stir in condensed milk and vanilla
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chocolate sandwich cookies
- 2 cups heavy cream whipped
GINGERBREAD MEN

Mix first 6 ingredients, set aside
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter softened
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
POUND CAKE

- 1/2 pound oleo (do not substitute)
- 1/2 cup shortening (Crisco)
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
CRISPY OAT COOKIES

Cream butter, gradually add sugars, beating well at medium speed of mixer
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup regular oats, uncooked
- 1 cup crushed corn flakes cereal
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
PEANUT CLUSTERS

Melt candy coating and chocolate morsels in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly
- 8 (2 oz.) vanilla candy coating squares cut up
- 2-2/3 cups milk chocolate morsels
- 1 lb. salted Spanish peanuts
SHRIMP CHINESE POPCORN

- Sauce:
- 1 lb. raw shrimp
- 1/2 egg white, beaten
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3-4 cups oil
- 4-1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 4-1/2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoons sherry
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 3/4 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onion
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
TURKEY MEATLOAF

Using a food processor with the grinder attachment, grind the mushroom and eggplant together
- 1 large portobello mushroom
- 1 small Italian eggplant
- 1/2 pound lean ground turkey breast, no skin added
- 1/2 pound ground sirloin
- 1 (4-ounce) can tomato paste
- 2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 red onion, chopped fine
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 medium egg
- Directions
- Preheat 350 degrees F.
TUSCAN FOCACCIA

In small bowl dissolve yeast in water and stir in 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 scant tablespoon dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons lukewarm water
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup Pecorino Romano cheese grated
- 1 oz. cut into 1/4” diced pieces
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/2 About 1/2 cup milk at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
