For Crust: Using electric mixer, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Cookie Crust
- 3/4 cup (1 and 1/2-sticks) unsalted butter room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 1/4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- Pecan Filling
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar packed
- 1 cup (2-sticks) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 pound pecans
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
Chicken, Southern Chicken Pecan Salad

1. In a large bowl, combine chicken, grapes, pecans, green onion, and bacon
- 8 cups chopped cooked chicken
- 2 cups halved red seedless grapes
- 1 1/4 cups toasted chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion

- 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
