Jalapeno Pepper Jelly

- 1/2 pint jars, (about 5) sterilized
- 5 cups sugar
- 2 medium tart apples, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped
- 8 medium (or 10 medium) jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
- 1/4 cup water
- 6 drops (or 8 drops) green food coloring
- 2 pouches (3-ounces each) liquid fruit pectin
- Cream cheese and assorted crackers optional
Lemon Lust Bars

These rich lemon bars sweet with a potent citrus zing, are one of Joanne Chang's signature treats
- 4 oz. (8 Tbs.) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 Tbs. granulated sugar
- 1 Tbs. confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2-1/4 oz. (1/2 cup) all-purpose flour
- 2-1/2 oz. (2/3 cup) cake flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Lemon Curd
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (from 4 to 6 lemons)
- 2 oz. (4 Tbs.) unsalted butter, cut into 2 pieces
- 2 Tbs. heavy cream
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs

- 1/4 tsp. salt

- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
- 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
- 1/4 cup dried instant minced onion
- 1/4 cup chopped hamburger pickle slices
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
- 2 Italian plum tomato, thinly sliced, if desired
- 4 slices (3/4 oz each) American or Cheddar cheese, each cut in half
- 2 cans (8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

- CRUST:
- Serves: makes 1 - 12-inch pizza dessert
- Prep Time: 20 Min, Cook Time: 15 Min
- 1 3/4 c to 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 pkg fleischmann's pizza crust yeast or rapid yeast or a pre-made store crust
- 1 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2/3 c milk
- 3 Tbsp butter or margarine
- FRUIT FILLING:
- Note: frozen fruit can be used in place of the fresh, but don't let it thaw before assembling the pizza.
- 6 oz fresh raspberries (1 1/2 cups)
- 1 c fresh blueberries
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp corn starch(argo)
- STREUSEL TOPPING:
- 1/2 c all purpose flour
- 1/4 c brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon(spice islands)
