Quinoa Risotto with Mushrooms and Thyme

1. Bring 2 cups salted water to boil in medium saucepan
- 1 cup quinoa, rinsed
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 1 8-oz package sliced crimini (baby bella) mushrooms
- 6 oz fresh shiitake mushrooms, stemmed, sliced
- 3 tsp chopped fresh thyme, divided
- 1 cup dry white wine
- Grated Parmesan cheese
Alton Brown's Frozen Blueberry Pie

Wash the berries and pat dry
- 20 ounces blueberries, approximately 4 cups
- 4 ounces sugar, approximately 1/2 cup
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 1/4 ounces tapioca flour, approximately 5 tablespoons
- 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 2 (9-inch) store-bought pie doughs

In a large Dutch oven or heavy pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 1 Onion (diced)
- 4 Garlic Cloves (minced)

- 1 pound Pork Neck Bones (optional)

- 1 pound Ground Veal
- 1 pound Spicy Italian Sausage (loose or removed from casing)
- 1/2 cup Dry White Wine

- 3 Bay Leaves
- 1 pound Dried Lasagna Noodles
- 2 pound Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese
- 1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Flat-Leaf Parsley Leaves
- 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
- 1/4 cup Fresh Oregano Leaves
- 2 Large Eggs

Heat a large skillet over medium high heat
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, 1 turn of the pan
- 1 1/4 pounds ground beef sirloin
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons to 1 tablespoon steak seasoning blend, such as McCormick brand Montreal Seasoning
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 6 crusty rolls, split, toasted, and lightly buttered

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups chopped yellow onions
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne

- 1/2 cup tomato paste
