- • 1 1/2 cups chopped fresh or sliced frozen rhubarb
- • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- • 1/2 cup sugar
- • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- • 1 tablespoon cold butter
English Muffin Bread

English Muffin Bread We love English muffins for their crunchy crust, chewy interior, and many nooks and crannies
- Cornmeal
- 5 cups (27 1/2 ounces) bread flour
- 4 1/2 teaspoons instant or rapid-rise yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups whole milk, heated to 120 degrees
SLOW COOKER BEEF AND PASTA SOUP

1. Put everything except beans, pasta and cheese into a 6-quart slow cooker
- 1 lb. lean ground minced beef
- 2 whole carrots, diced
- 4 celery stalks, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 28 oz. can crushed chopped tomatoes
- 2 each (14.5 oz. cans) beef broth or beef stock
- 2 whole bay leaves
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can (15 oz.) cannelloni beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz.) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup of Ditalini pasta, uncooked (or similar pasta shape)
- Parmesan cheese, grated
MINI APPLE PIES

CAN BE DONE IN YOUR MINI PIE PANS
- 8 cups of apples, cut into 1/2 inch bits
- 12 tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 heaping tsp. of cinnamon
- 1/2 to 1/2 tsp. of nutmeg (depending on how much you like nutmeg or you could leave it out.)
- 4 tbsp. chilled butter cut into 24 equal portions
- 2 box's of Pillsbury pie crusts (four chilled NOT frozen crusts)
BILLS TURKEY BRINE

In a large pot combine vegetable stock, salt, sugar, and herbs over a medium heat
- 2 quarts/1.9 L vegetable stock
- 1/2 cup/120 mL salt (3/4 cup/180 mL Kosher or coarse salt)
- 1/2 cup/120 mL white sugar
- 1 tablespoon/15 mL dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon/15 mL dried sage
- 1 tablespoon/15 mL dried thyme
- 2 quarts/1.9 L cold water
LOADED BAKED POTATO SOUP

All the flavors of a loaded baked potato comes together beautifully in this satisfyingly creamy and comforting soup
- 4 slices of bacon, diced
- 5 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 cups milk, or more, as needed
- 3 russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 green onions thinly sliced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
