  • 2 each (14.5 oz. cans) beef broth or beef stock
  • 2 whole bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can (15 oz.) cannelloni beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz.) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup of Ditalini pasta, uncooked (or similar pasta shape)
  • Parmesan cheese, grated
