- 5-1/2 pounds apples, peeled and finely chopped
- 4 cups sugar
- 2 to 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
CINNAMON CRUMBLE APPLE PIE

Crust: Preheat oven to 375 deg
- Pie Crust:
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 tbsp. butter
- 2-3 tsp. cold water
- Pie Filling:
- 6 cup thinly sliced, peeled apples
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- Crumble Topping:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 tbsp. chilled unsalted buttte, cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
TOFFEE SQUARES (FROM SANDY OSBORNE)

BAKED BEANS (BOURBON BACON)

- 1 tbsp. garlic, minced

- pinch or two of smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. molasses
- 12 oz. apple smoked bacon, crisped and chopped
- 2-3 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp. bourbon
- pinch of salt and pepper
