- 1 ½ lbs. lean ground beef
- 1 ½ t. salt
- 1 cup uncooked instant rice
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1/4 t. pepper
Turkey Bake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 2/3 cups water
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) stuffing mix for turkey
- 4 cups chopped, cooked turkey
- 1 bag (14 oz.) frozen broccoli florets, thawed, drained
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Butter Cake with Salted Caramel Buttercream

Cake Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Butter Cake:
- 3 cups flour
- 2 t. baking powder
- 1 t. baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks), softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
- 2 t. vanilla
- Salted Buttercream Frosting:
- First Stage:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup Crisco vegetable shortening
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 t. baking soda
- Second Stage:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 t. sea salt
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Forgotten Jambalaya

In a 5 qt. slow cooker, combine the tomatoes, broth and tomato paste
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) beef or chicken broth
- 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 2 med. green peppers, chopped
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 3 celery ribs, chopped
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 t. dried parsley flakes
- 2 t. dried basil
- 1 1/2 t. dried oregano
- 1 1/4 t. salt
- 1/2 t. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 t. hot pepper sauce
- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1" cubes
- 1 lb. smoked sausage, halved and cut into 1/4" slices
- 1/2 lb. uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- hot cooked rice.
Loaded Baked Potato Salad

Place the potatoes in a greased 15x10x1" baking pan; sprinkle with salt and pepper
- 5 lbs. sm. unpeeled red potatoes, cubed
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. pepper
- 8 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
- 1 lb. sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 med. sweet onion, chopped
- 3 dill pickles, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 to 3 t. prepared mustard

- 1 (6 oz.) jar marinated artichokes, drained
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup Italian dressing
- 2 1/2 t. chopped fresh basil
- 3 T. grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 cherry tomatoes, halved
