Cherry Cake Pudding

Drain juice from cherries
- Oven Temperature 350
- 1 cup sour red cherries
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup nuts
Sloppy Taco Stoup

Heat a medium soup pot over medium-high heat with EVOO
- 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 lbs. gound beef sirloin
- Salt and black pepper
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tbsp. cumin
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 cup hot sauce, any kind you like
- 3 tbsp. tomato paste
- beef stock (recipe 1 1/2 qts. beef stock) not that much.
- 4 scallions, chopped
- 2 tbsp. cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup green olives with pimento, chopped
- 3 plum tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 1 cup corn tortilla chips, crushed
Taco Casserole

Place chips on bottom and sides of casserole
- 1/2 lb. hamburger, cooked
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 package dorito chips
- Parmesan Cheese to taste
- 1/8 tsp thyme
- 1/8 tsp. oregano
- 1/8 tsp. cumin
- 1 regular size can red beans, mashed
- 1 reg. size can tomatoes drained and diced
- 1 cup chopped lettuce
- mexican hot sauce to taste
Marinated Tomatoes

Place all of the ingredients for the dressing in a measuring cup and whisk thoroughly to combine
- 3 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 tsp. dried oregano
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 4 -6 large tomatoes, cored, each cut into six wedges
Spicy Tomato Red Rice

Fry the bacon in a heavy saucepan; remove the bacon from the pan and set aside
- 4 strips bacon
- 1 medium onion
- 1 small green bell pepper
- 1 cup raw rice
- One 14 1/2 oz. can whole tomatoes, with liquid
- 1 cup water
- One 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. hot sauce
SAUSAGE CHEESE DIP

In a small crock pot, combine the cheeses, chiles, tomatoes and scallions
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese block, cut into cubes* 1/2 (8oz.) bar cream
- cheese, cut into cubes* 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles*
- 1/2 cup chopped cherry ( or whatever you have) tomatoes
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced
- 2 Italian sausage links, casings removed
- 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
Bread and Celery Stuffing Thanksgiving

1. Let bread slices air dry for 1 to 2 hours, then cut into cubes
- 1 (lb.) loaf sliced white bread. I used Hyvee bread cubes in bakery.
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 tsp poultry seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chicken broth
Chocolate Crispy Peanut Butter Balls

5 dozen Combine all ingredients in large bowl and mix well
- Chocolate Coating:
- 3 3/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups crunchy peanut butter
- 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 6 oz German sweet chocolate
- 6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 oz. parafin wax
Savannah Red Rice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped bell pepper
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 cup diced Hillshire Farm sausage
- one 14 1/2 oz. can crushed tomatoes with juice
- 1 Tbsp. Texas Pete or red hot sauce
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- Pepper to taste; add salt to taste if desired
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
Homemade Maid-rites

Combine all ingredients in a skillet and simmer 1 hour
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. mustard
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- Salt and Pepper to taste
