Slow Cooked Sour Creamed Pot Roast

In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain, reserving drippings
- Slow cooked sour creamed pot roast
- 2 slices bacon
- 3 lb chuck roast
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 2 tbsp. fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp. BV
- Hot cooked noodles
Chicken Lettuce Wraps

In a small bowl, combine the broth, 2 tbsp
- 3 tbsp. chicken broth
- 2 tbsp. plus 2 tsp. soy sauce, divided
- 1 tbsp. chicken broth
- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 lb. chicken
- 1 tsp. canola oil
- 1/4 cup shredded carrot
- 1 tsp. minced fresh gingerroot
- 1/3 cup plum or seedless respberry preserves
- 2 tsp. hoisin sauce
- 1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 4 Bibb or Boston Lettuce leaves
Marinated Macaroni Salad

Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain
- 1 (8 oz.) package uncooked elbow macaroni
- 3/4 cup commercial Italian salad dressing
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 3/4 cup shredded carrots
- 3/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup diced pasteurized process American cheese
- 1 (8 oz) carton commercial sour cream
- Imitation bacon bits
Basic Ice Cream Soda
