Cherry Smoothie

Put frozen cherries, banana and cherry juice blend in container of electric blender or food processor
- 2 cups frozen tart or sweet cherries
- 1 ripe banana, peeled
- 1 cup cherry juice blend (or other juice)
- Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Hattie's Tart Cherry Barbecue Sauce

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan with a heavy bottom; mix well
- 1 cup canned or frozen tart cherries
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 Tbs ketchup
- 1/4 cup cherry preserves
- 3 Tbs brown sugar
- 1 Tbs sesame oil
- 1 Tbs molasses
- 1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp toasted cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
Raspberry Muffins

Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix dry ingredients together in medium size bowl
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 Tbs sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
Cheesy Baked Chicken

Combine parsley, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 Tbs olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 lbs fresh chicken drumsticks
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Cherry S'Mores

Put marshmallow creme, cherries and chocolate chips in a medium bowl; mix well
- 1/2 cup marshmallow creme
- 1/2 cup dried tart cherries
- 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 12 graham cracker squares (2* inches each)
Hawaiian Barbecue Sauce

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan
- 3 Tbs crushed pineapple drained thoroughly
- 1 cup Basic Barbecue Sauce recipe follows
- 1 Tbs reduced-sodium soy sauce
- Basic Barbecue Sauce
- 1 Can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 3 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 3 tsp dry mustard
- 3 Tbs brown sugar
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 Tbs dried minced onion
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Raspberry-Date Bars

Combine raspberries, dates, and water
- 3 cups red raspberries, whole (frozen or fresh)
- 3 cups dates, chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 Tbs lemon Juice
- Crust and Topping
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup margarine or butter, melted

- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 1/3 cups lemon juice

Thaw the frozen peas. In a large saucepan stir together white sauce mix and milk
- 1 1.8 oz package white sauce mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup cubed American Cheese
- 1/8 tsp ground pepper
- 7 oz macaroni, cooked according to directions, drained
- 1 1/2 cup fully-cooked ham
- 1 cup frozen green peas
Chocolate Peanut Butter Chews

Melt honey and peanut butter on stovetop or in the microwave
- 3/4 cup BeeMaid honey
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup salted peanuts
- 3 cups Rice Krispies
- 10 large marshmallows
