Preheat grill or broiler. With small brush clean mushrooms; set aside
- 1 lb fresh white mushrooms
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 3 oz sliced smoked ham or Canadian bacon, cut in 1-inch strips
