Yuletide Layer Bars

PREHEAT oven to 350ºF. MELT butter in 13 x 9-inch baking pan in oven; remove from oven
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 can (14 oz.) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 2/3 cups (10-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Holiday Morsels
Seriously Italian: Farfalle with Zucchini and Gorgonzola

1. Place 4 quarts of water in a large pot, season with salt and bring to a boil
- 2 medium zucchini (about 1/2 a pound)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium shallot, finely chopped
- 1 large rib of celery, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 pound farfalle, or another pasta shape
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 ounces Gorgonzola, piccante or dolce, cut in pieces
- 2 tablespoons minced parsley
- 2 large sprigs basil, finely julienned
Halloween Pumpkin Spice Cookies

1. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and ginger in a large bowl; sift, and set aside
- Royal Icing:
- 4 3/4 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons Baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 2 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Ground ginger
- 3/4 pound (3 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 3/4 cups Sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Molasses
- Paste or gel food coloring
- 5 tablespoons Meringue powder
- 3/4 cup Water
- 4 cups Sifted confectioners' sugar, or more to thicken icing
- Juice of 1 lemon
Holiday Vegetable Tree

1) Heat oven to 375°F. Remove dough from can in 1 long roll; do not unroll or separate
- 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury Crescent Recipe Creations refrigerated seamless dough sheet
- 1 container (8 oz) chives-and-onion cream cheese spread
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 3/4 medium red bell pepper
- 1/4 medium yellow bell pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh broccoli
- 2 tablespoons sliced ready-to-eat baby-cut carrots
- 1 tablespoon chopped cucumber
Chocolate Espresso Mini-Bites

Preheat oven to 375F. Grease baking sheets
- 2 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking Soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder ( I used Hersheys Special Dark )
- 1 cup of butter at room temp.
- 1 cup of granulated sugar ( I used 1/3 )
- 1 cup of confectioners sugar
- 2 eggs at room temp.
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. strong brewed coffee
- 1 tsp. of fine ground espresso powder ( optional )
- 12 oz of chopped bittersweet chocolate or mini chips
- Extra granulated sugar for rolling
- 1 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- few Tbsp. of milk depending on how thick you like the glaze

- 3/4 c margarine
- 2 c flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 c oatmeal
- 2 c Total cereal (crush after measuring)
Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites

Combine peanut butter and softened butter in a large bowl with a fork or whisk, or in a stand mixer
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tbsp softened butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (maybe more)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (maybe more)
- Pretzels
- 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
Skillet Sausage & Potato Hash

1. Heat oven to 425°F, Arrange potatoes in single layer on baking sheet coated with olive oil spray
- 1 bag (15 oz) frozen seasoned potato wedges (we used Alexia Oven Reds)
- 2 links (3 oz each) fully cooked fake sausage or bratwurst, sliced
- 1 bag (16 oz) frozen sliced bell peppers and onions
- 2 Tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley or cilantro
Avocado,Tomato,Sprouts and Pepperjack with Chive Spread

In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt and chives
- Chive Spread
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Avocado Salad
- 1 avocado, peeled, pitted and diced
- 1 tomato, cored and chopped
- 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded and diced
- Squeeze of lime juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or cilantro
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 slices whole grain bread or 4 small mulitgrain tortillas
- 1/4 cup alfalfa sprouts
- 2 to 4 slices lite pepper jack cheese

- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 ounces good-quality dark-chocolate chunks (60-70% cocoa solids), such as Scharffen Berger
- 3/4 cup dried cherries
- 1 cup sliced almonds
