Cardamom orange pizelles

Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon in a bowl and set aside
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp bkg powder
- 2 1/2 tsp dvd cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cardamom
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cup sugar,dvd
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 tsp cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp orange zest
Sweetened condensed milk

In an electric mixer, blend together water, butter, sugar and vanilla
- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 4 tblsp butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Slow Cooker Enchiladas

Directions: In a skillet, cook beef, onion and green pepper until beef is browned and vegetables are tender; drain
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 can (16 ounces) pinto or kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 6 flour tortillas (6 inches)
Lemon Buttermilk Pie

Beat egg yolks, add the mix of sugar and flour to yolks
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 1 stick melted butter
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tblsp. flour
- Juice and peel of 1 lemon
Firecracker Pecans

Preheat oven 250* whip the water and the egg whites till frothy
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tblsp. water
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tblsp. maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. pepper, cinnamon, clove
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne
- 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 4-6 cups nuts
Pumpkin bars and frosting

Preheat oven to 350* sift the dry ingredients
- Frosting:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 15 oz can pumpkin
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp bkg powder
- 1 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp each salt,cinnamon, ginger,cloves,nutmeg
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tblsp cream or milk
Chicken or turkey basting sauce

This can be used in dressing as well for added yumminess
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp lemon pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp celery salt
- 1 tsp bell seasoning
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tblsp lemon juice
Stuffed manicotti

Sauté the onion and minced garlic and after a few minutes add the beef
- 1 box manicotti
- 4 tsp olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 15 oz container ricotta
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup parmesan
- 2 tblsp parsley
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 tblsp butter

Cook the sugar, karo and water till the mixture reaches 310* then add the peanut butter and remove from heat
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup karo
- 1/3 cup water
