Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cookies
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- Frosting
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- Pinch of salt

- 2 cups shredded bok choy or chinese cabbage
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp. Grated ginger

- 2 tblsp butter

- 1/2 cup onion
- 1 cup celery,diced
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup fennel, chopped

- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp tarragon
- 2/3 cups lentils
- 4 cups chicken broth

- 4 tblsp. Anisette, or 2 anise extract& 2 water

My families favorite
- Marinate:
- 1 lb meat, I use round steak or venison if available, great use for game
- 2 grated carrots
- 2 thin sliced celery ribs
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 1/2 cup sliced green onion
- 2 tblsp grated ginger and garlic
- 1 can chopped water chestnuts
- 1 -2 cups coleslaw mix
- 1/4 cup each soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tblsp sherry, or rice wine
- 1 tblsp chili paste
- 1 tblsp hoisin sauce
- Stir fry sauce:
- 1 tblsp sherry or rice wine
- 2 tblsp soy sauce
- 1 tblsp hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tblsp sugar
- 1 tblsp corn starch
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 pkg egg roll skins
- Sweet and sour sauce:
- 1/4 cup each vinegar, sugar, and ketchup

- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 medium onion, halved and sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium zucchini, halved lengthwise and sliced
- 1 medium yellow summer squash, halved lengthwise and sliced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dried
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 15- or 19-ounce can cannellini or Great Northern beans, rinsed (see Cooking Tips)
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tablespoon red-wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese

Chili Rellano casserole

- 8-12 poblano peppers
- 1 LB. burger
- 2 cups pinto beans
- 3 cups cheese, or mexi cheese blends
- 2 cups salsa
- 4 tblsp flour and butter
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp penzeys forward
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp penzeys adobo seasoning
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp chicken bouillon
Kung Pao Chicken

This is a great dish
- Sauce:
- 2 whole chicken breasts, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg white
- 1 tblsp corn starch
- 1/2 cup scallions, cut up
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 10 whole red chili peppers
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tblsp grated fresh ginger
- Veggies, red bell, onion, mushroom, celery, water chestnut,cabbage or any that you may like in a stir fry, about 3 cups
- 1 tsp chili paste
- 2 tblsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tblsp sherry or rice wine
- 1 tsp black vinegar, or red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sesame oil
