- 1/4 cup EVOO
- cornmeal for pizza stone

- Thin and crisp:
- 2 1/2 sticks, unsalted butter softened
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- Soft and Chewy:
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- Light and Flaky:
- 1 3/4 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- Plus:
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 large eggs, room temp
- 2 cups (about 12 oz) chocolate chips
Italian Nachos Restaurant-Style

Preheat broiler. Crumble sausage into a large pan over medium heat
- 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
- 1 (7.5 ounce) bag tortilla chips
- 1 (2 oz) package sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 pound shredded mozzarella or your choice of cheese
- 1/2 cup banana peppers, drained (pepperocini-seed and slice)
- 1 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- grated parmesan cheese
- sliced olives
- sliced green onions

- Paste:
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 5 Tbs flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
Chicken and Egg Sammies Deluxe

Season the chicken evenly with smoked paprika, salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 pound chicken breast cutlets
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper
- 4 Tbs evoo, divided
- 4 large eggs
- 2 Tbs milk
- 2 roasted red peppers, pat dry and chopped
- Handful of flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- 4 crusty rolls, spllit
- 4 slices smoked gouda
- 2 cups chopped lettuce
Greek Orzo Salad

A delicious, colorful salad, with artichoke hearts and feta cheese
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked orzo pasta
- 2- 6oz cans marinated artichoke hearts
- 1 tomato, seeded and chopped
- 1 cucumber, seeded and chopped
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1-2oz can black olives, drained
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 Tbs lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
Lemon Drop Martini

These lemon drop martinis go down so easy, they taste great, and they will wallop you but good
- 1 1/2 oz vodka
- 1/2 oz triple sec
- 1 tsp superfine sugar
- 3/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- superfine sugar for dipping
- twist peel of lemon
Stromboli

Grease baking sheet. Stir mustard, basil and olives in small bowl; set aside
- 1/4 cup brown mustard
- 2 Tbs chopped fresh basil or 2 tsp dreid basil leaves
- 1 Tbs chopped black olives
- 1 onion sliced thin
- 1 green pepper, sliced into thin strips
- 1 pound frozen bread dough, thawed at room temperature
- 1/4 pound sliced salami
- 1/4 pound slliced provolone cheese
- 1/4 pound sliced ham
- 1/8 pound thinlly sliced pepperoni (2 inch diameter)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp poppy or sesame seeds
Chicken Pesto Panini

Spread one side of each bread slice with butter
- 8 slices Italian bread, 1/2 inch thick
- 2 Tbs butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 pound thinly sliced cooked deli chicken or turkey
- 4 Tbs basil pesto
- 4 slices (1 oz each) mozzarella cheese
- Spaghetti sauce, warmed, if desired
