- BACON VINAIGRETTE
- 1 ⁄2cup light olive oil
- 1 ⁄4cup finely minced cooked bacon (3 or
- 4 slices)
- 1 ⁄4cup red wine vinegar
- 1 ⁄2t cornstarch
- 1 1⁄2t Grey Poupon Dijon mustard
- 1 ⁄4t salt
- 1 ⁄4t course ground black pepper
- 1 ⁄4t hickory flavored liquid smoke
- SHRIMP SEASONING
- 1 t coarse ground black pepper
- 1 ⁄2t salt
- 1 ⁄2t garlic powder
- 1 ⁄4t onion powder
- 1 ⁄4t paprika
- 1 ⁄4t ground (rubbed) sage
- 1 ⁄4t granulated sugar
- 20-24 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 T butter, melted
- 1 ⁄4cup sliced almonds
- 16 cups fresh spinach
- 1 ⁄2cup diced tomato (1 large tomato)
- 1 ⁄2cup sliced red onion
- 1 ⁄4cup sliced roasted red bell pepper

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef
- 2 pounds fresh ground beef
- 1 quart tomato juice 1 (29-ounce)
- can tomato purée 1 (15-ounce)
- can red kidney beans, drained 1 (15-ounce)
- can pinto beans, drained 1
- medium-large onion, chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chili powder (use less for milder chili)
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin (use more for real flavor)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Reduced Fat Version of old Banana Cream Pie

Prepare and bake graham cracker crust using directions on box
- 2 reduced fat graham cracker crust
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 cups fat free half-and-half
- 8 egg yolks
- 4 tablespoons margarine
- 2 1/3 tablespoons vanilla
- 4 large bananas
Turmeric Tea

Combine all the ingredients in a medium jar
- Two 2 1/2 inch pieces (24 grams total) fresh turmeric root, finely grated
- 2-inch piece (13 grams) fresh ginger root, finely grated

- 1/4 cup (80 grams) honey
- Freshly squeezed juice of 1/2 a lemon

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut peppers lengthwise
- 4 bell peppers, any color or combo
- 2 tsp. Olive oil
- 1 pkg. JENNIE-O Turkey Store Hot or Sweet Lean Italian Turkey Sausage, casings removed
- 1/2 jar spaghetti sauce
- 2 T. fresh basil or 2 tsp. Dried basil
- 2 cans (16 oz.) northern beans or cannelloni beans, drained
- 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese

- 1-1/4 pound Ground Chuck
- 1 can 15-ounces Tomato Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 8 ounces, weight Egg Noodles
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 1-1/4 cup Small Curd Cottage Cheese
- 1/2 cup Sliced Green Onions (less To Taste)
- 1 cup Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
