Cream of Wild Mushroom Soup

In large pot, melt butter over medium high
- 6 Tbps butter
- 1 C chopped yellow onion
- 1/2 C chopped celery
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 6 oz shitake, sliced
- 6 oz oyster, sliced (I prefer woodear)
- 8 oz cremini or button, sliced
- 2 tsp fresh thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/3 C brandy
- 6 C chicken stock
- 1 1/2 C heavy cream
Curried Chicken Wrap

Preheat the oven to 350°F
- 3 split (1 1/2 whole) chicken breasts, bone in, skin on
- Olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups good mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup chutney (recommended: Major Gray's)
- 3 tablespoons curry powder
- 1 cup medium-diced celery (2 large stalks)
- 1/4 cup chopped scallions, white and green parts (2 scallions)
- 1 cup whole roasted, salted cashews, chopped
- 6 tortillas

- 1/2 pkg Nabisco chocolate wafers
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
- 1 qt coffee ice cream

- 24 Hawaiian Rolls
- 1 lb of honey ham
- 1 lb of swiss cheese (you can get away with 1/2 lb of cheese)
- 2 sticks of butter melted
- 4 Tbsp of sugar
- 2 Tbsp of honey mustard
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 4 tsp Poppy Seeds

- Cake:
- 3 Cups flour (Shereen uses cake flour)
- 1 TB. baking powder
- 1-2 tsp. GROUND CARDAMOM
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 small pinch SAFFRON steeped in 1/4 Cup hot water
- 3/4 Cup honey
- 1/2 Cup butter (1 stick), room temperature
- 3/4 Cup sugar
- 3 eggs, room temperature
- 3/4 Cup whole milk (take out of the fridge 1/2 hour before making the cake)
- Syrup:
- 1/3 Cup honey
- 1/3 Cup hot water
- 1 TB. lemon juice (juice of 1/2 lemon)
- Topping:
- 2 Cups whipping cream
- 1/4 Cup honey
Mulligatawny Soup

In soup pot, saute onion in butter
- 1/2 C onion, finely chopped
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 1/2 Tbsp flour
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1 qt chicken broth, heated
- 1 pint half & half
- salt and white pepper to taste
- 1 C cooked chicken, cut in thin slices
- 1 raw tart apple peeled/cored/finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp parsley chopped
Pasta - Sugo di Funghi

In a bowl of luke warm water add the mushrooms and let sit for 30 minutes
- 250 g. dried mushrooms
- 2 cloves of garlic
- olive oil
- nipitella erbs
- 1 T. of butter
- 1 c.of beef broth either liquid or tablet formed, dissolved
Sloppy Joe's

In large skillet, cook beef with onion and celery until meat loses its red color
- 1 1/2 # lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 stalks celery, minced
- 1 (12oz) bottle chili sauce
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1/8 tsp pepper
Green Beans

Snap the stem ends of green beans, or cut them off in a big bunch with a knife if you’d like
- 1 lb green beans
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons bacon grease

- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon kosher salt (can substitute regular table salt; use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon)
