Thin and Crisp Chocolate Chip Cookies

Adding more granulated sugar gives this classic thin and crispy cookie its crunch
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed light-brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups (about 12 ounces) semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips
Garlic Herb Dressing (Joe Verna)

Wisk together the garlic, vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/4 cup of red wine vinegar
- 3/4 cup of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper
- 1 Tablespoon of minced fresh parsley
- 2 teaspoons of each dried herb: basil, dill, oregano, tarragon, chervil, etc.
Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup {Slow Cooker}

- Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked wild rice blend
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 3/4 cup celery, chopped
- 3/4 cup carrots, chopped
- 4-5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 6 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons salt-free poultry seasoning
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (or substitute more butter)
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 cups milk (see note)
- salt and pepper to taste
Breaded Chicken Sticks

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 1 1/2 - 2 pounds thin chicken breast (i.e. Nature's Promise individually wrapped portions), cubed and then sprinkled with olive oil
- 1 cup seasoned panko bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup flour (or House-Autry Chicken Breader) with 1 tsp. Mrs Dash, 1 tsp. paprika, and Salt & Pepper
- 2 eggs beaten lightly
- olive oil
- 10 bamboo skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
FULLY LOADED GUACAMOLE

Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl and mix until well combined
- 2 (8 oz) containers of Wholly Guacamole
- 3/4 cup of corn
- 1 cup (about 1/2 of a 14 oz can) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 small tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 jalapeno, seeded as desired and diced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 clove of garlic, diced
- 1/4 cup of red onions, chopped very small
- Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon Blueberry Cake

Preheat oven to 350º and grease three 9" cake pans with cooking spray
- 1 18-oz. 1 18-oz. 18-oz. box vanilla cake, plus ingredients called for on box
- 1 1/2 zest of 1 1/2 lemons, divided, plus more zest for garnish
- 1 3/4 1 3/4 3/4 c. fresh blueberries, divided
- 3 3 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 1 1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3 3 3 c. powdered sugar
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 c. heavy cream
- 1 1 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- pinch pinch of kosher salt
- 2 2 2 thin lemon slices, for topping

- 1/3 cup honey
