- 2 whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 28 oz), halved
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1-1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2/3 onion, sliced thin
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced thin
- 1/3 cup Marsala
- 2/3 cup chicken broth
- 1-1/2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley leaves

- 1 stick butter, softened
- 4 medium over-ripe bananas, mashed
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup almond meal
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 oz semi sweet chocolate, finely chopped (almost shaved)

Whisk together the mayonnaise, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, olive oil and garlic
- 1 cup good mayonnaise
- 10 to 15 basil leaves, chopped
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon good olive oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 slices country loaf bread
- 1 heirloom or Israeli tomato, sliced
Egg Drop Soup with Rice Cakes

1. Pour broth into a pot, add garlic, salt and pepper and bring to a simmer

- 5 1/4 cups low sodium chicken stock

- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 1/2 tablespoons chives, thinly sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 24 pickled Peppadew peppers (cherry peppers/pimentos), drained and patted dry
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

- Crust (Recipe makes enough for two pies)
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 16 tablespoons (2 sticks) butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup ice water
- Filling (for one pie)
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 15 ounces (1 can) pumpkin puree
- 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips, melted (can substitute semi-sweet if desired)
