Perogies (Voreniki), Potato/Cheddar Cheese, Onion & Bacon

Using whipping cream in the dough mixture, tenderizes the dough
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup whole milk , homogenized
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 large potatoes , peeled and quartered
- 1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbles
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions or 1/4 cup green onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
- 1 cup (4 ounces) preshredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup (1 ounce) grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
- 1 (1-pound) Italian cheese-flavored pizza crust (such as Boboli)
- 1 cup thinly sliced fresh basil
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced shallots
- 1/2 cup finely chopped spinach
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup thinly sliced plum tomatoes
Sweet & Sour Sauce

- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. ketchup
Crusty Cheese and Herb Pull-Apart Bread

1 Combine the yeast, sugar and 1/2 cup of warm water in a small jug or bowl
- 7 gdried yeast (1 sachet)
- 1 teaspoonsugar
- 4 cupsbread flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoonssalt
- 1/4 cuppowdered milk
- 2 tablespoonsolive oil
- 2 tablespoonsparsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoonschives, chopped
- 100 gcheddar cheese, grated
- milk, to glaze
Olive Garden Salad Dressing*

Mix all ingredients in a blender until well mixed
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons romano cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- Streusel Topping:
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- Coffee Cake:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup eggnog
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1 tsp. rum extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Eggnog Glaze:
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1-2 Tbsp. eggnogg
Irish Rosie's Irish Soda Bread

This Irish soda bread recipe was passed on to me by a dear friend of my mother's who was born and raised in Ireland
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pint sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons caraway seeds (optional but I always use them)
- 3/4 cup raisins

In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, yeast and sugar
- 1 3/4 cups warm water
- 1 Tablespoon traditional baking yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cups unbleached flour
- TOPPING
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons coarse salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped rosemary
- cracked black pepper
Chicken-Ham Wild Rice Soup in Bread Bowls

1Cut thin 3-inch round slice from tops of bowls
- 6 large hard rolls or Kaiser rolls (4 to 5 inches in diameter)
- 2 cans (18 oz each) Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ creamy roasted garlic with chicken stock cooking sauce
- 1 1/2 cups cubed deli rotisserie chicken
- 1/2 cup diced cooked ham
- 1 can (15 oz) cooked wild rice, drained
- Garnishes, If Desired
- Toasted sliced or slivered almonds
- Chopped fresh chives or sliced green onions

- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
