Low Fat Creamy Italian Salad Dressing

Salads are a super weight loss food … until you put the dressing on top
- 2/3 cup water
- 2/3 cup raw cashews or raw, blanched almonds
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or granulated garlic or 1 clove garlic
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 2 teaspoons onion powder or granulated onion
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried minced or chopped onion – optional
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
Cream Soup Mix Recipe

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients
- 2 cups nonfat dry milk powder
- 3/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup reduced-sodium chicken bouillon granules
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Chocolate-Raspberry Flan

Add boiling water to dry jelly powder
- 1 cup boilingwater
- 1 pkg. (10 g)Jell-O No Sugar Added Raspberry Jelly Powder
- 1/2 square Baker's Bittersweet Chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup Jet-Puffed Miniature Marshmallows
- 3/4 cup Cool Whip Light Whipped Topping (Do not thaw.)
- 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
Pizza Buns

Mix yeast and 4 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons yeast
- 8 cups flour, divided
- 2 eggs
- 8 tablespoons sugar
- 6 tablespoons cooking oil
- 3 cups water, lukewarm
- 1 teaspoon salt
- FILLING
- 2 pounds pepperoni, ham, salami, whatever meat you like, chopped
- 1 onion, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, basil, oregano and italian seasoning
- 1 750ml jar spaghetti sauce, thick and spicy type
- 1 pound mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 cup mushroom pieces, optional
Yorkshire Pudding

Heat oven to 450F. Put 1 tablespoon oil in 6 cups of a muffin tin
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Indian Spiced Tara Root Fry

1. Pressure cook tara root along with skins for 2 to 3 whistles
- 6 to 8 about 6 to 8 medium sized Arbi (Taro root)
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp amchoor powder
- oil for deep frying
Root Beer Barbeque Sauce

Combine all ingredients in heavy medium saucepan
- 1 cup root beer
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dark brown sugar (packed)
- 1 tablespoon mild-flavored (light) molasses
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke*
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
One Pan Balsamic Chicken and Veggies

In a mixing bowl whisk together salad dressing, balsamic vinegar, honey and red pepper flakes, set aside
- 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp Italian salad dressing (I recommend using Kraft light Italian it's the perfect consistency for this and it's what I used)
- 3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp honey
- 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (more or less to taste)
- 1 1/4 lbs chicken breast tenderloins
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed of tough ends, chopped into 2-inch pieces (look for thinner stalks. Green beans are another good option)
- 1 1/2 cups matchstick carrots
- 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
Magic Bullet Hummus
