Dinner Rolls

We have these every Thanksgiving
- 2 cups scalded milk
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 2 pkg yeast
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. salt
- 8 cups flour
Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Pancakes

Combine flour, oatmeal, baking powder and salt in a large bowl
- Half recipe:
- 5 1/4 cups white whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup oatmeal
- 3 Tablespoons baking powder
- 1 Tablespoon salt
- 5 1/4 cups milk
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 9 Tablespoons raw sugar
- 1 bag chocolate chips
- 2 1/2 cups white whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup oatmeal
- 1 1/2 tbs. baking powder
- 1/2 tbs. salt
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 4 1/2 tbs. sugar
- 1/2 bag chocolate chips ( I used mini chips)
- These can just be sprinkled on after pouring batter on griddle. I also added some cinnamon chips to some of the batter instead of chocolate chips.
Broccoli- Carrot- Onion Slaw

Directions In a bowl, whisk the mayonnaise and mustard
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/2 C finely chopped broccoli florets
- 1/4 C slivered red onion
- 1/4 C slivered baby carrots
- In a bowl, whisk the mayonnaise and mustard. Add broccoli, onion, and carrots. Toss to coat.
Blueberry Crumb Topping Pie

Directions Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 5 cups blueberries
- 3/4 to 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 Crumb Topping

Oatmeal Lace Cookies

Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar for decoration
Marshmallow Cream Frosting

Instructions 1.Mix all ingredients together until smooth
- 7 ounces marshmallow cream
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons milk

- 1 cup Fiber One® original bran cereal
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup Gold Medal® whole wheat or all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Maple syrup, if desired
- Fresh raspberries, if desired
Overnight French Toast

Directions 1 In a small bowl combine brown sugar and melted butter and pour on the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish
- 1/4 cup (4 Tablespoons) butter, melted
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 loaf brioche or challah (French toast can also be sliced 1 1/2 inches thick)
- 8 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 cup pecans, measured then chopped
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- (optional) maple syrup and powdered sugar for topping
Strawberry Shortcake

Slice cake, using a serrated knife, horizontally into 3 equal layers
- 1 large angel food cake
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons strawberry gelatin (recommended: Jell-O)
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, cut in 1/2 (if berries are extra large, they can be cut into quarters)
- Whole fresh strawberries and mint leaves, for garnish

- 4 cups diced, cooked chicken
- I also added 1 can of corn and 1 large can of diced potatoes
- 2 cups buttermilk baking mix
- 2 tsp. basil
