- 2 teaspoons chili powder, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon salt
King Ranch Chicken Casserole

- 1 (4 1/2- to 5-lb. ) whole chicken
- 2 celery ribs, cut into 3 pieces each
- 2 carrots, cut into 3 pieces each
- 2 1/2 to 3 tsp. salt

- 1 medium-size green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 1 (10 3/4-oz.) can cream of mushroom soup

Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Preheat oven to 350 Spray pan with Pam Pour the melted butter into the pan, then sprinkle with the brown sugar
- 1/4 lb. butter (1 stick melted)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 can pineapple slices, drained with juice reserved
- 1 small jar maraschino cherries
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil

Mix tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar, and seasoning in medium saucepan
- 1 can (28 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 tbs. sugar
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tbs. olive oil
- 1 pd. zucchini or yellow squash, sliced
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) sliced mushrooms
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 6 oz. pasta, such spaghetti or linguine
- Shredded Parmesan cheese
Cheesy Sausage Spinach Breakfast Casserole

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- 1 package (6 ounces) herb-flavored stuffing mix
- 1 pound bulk breakfast sausage
- 1/4 cup chopped scallions
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 8 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Fruit Cocktail Cake ( Grandma Smithermans Recipe)

Beat together eggs, milk, sugar, salt baking soda and flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk ( can milk )
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 17 oz. can fruit cocktail, undrained
Banana Split Cake (Bellville)

- Layer 1
- Mix 2 cups graham cracker crumbs and 1 stick butter softened slightly; press into bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan.
- Layer 2
- Blend together; 8 oz. softened cream cheese, 1 box powdered sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 stick butter. Spread on crust.
- Layer 3
- Add 1 large can of drained pineapple, crushed or rings
- Layer 4
- Add 5 sliced bananas
- Layer 5
- Top with 1 large container of cool whip, garnish with nuts and cherries.
