Mocha Java Cakes

Apple Cake

- 4 cups diced apples
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup crisco oil

Chewy Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies

Beat the brown sugar, sugar & butter in a mixer bowl until creamy, scraping the bowl occasionally
- Makes 5 dozen cookies
- 1 cup + 2 TBL packed brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 4 1`/2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 2 cups extra-crunchy peanut butter
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp light Karo syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 2/3 cup chocolate chips
Vodka Cream Sauce

- 1 Spanish onion chopped well
- 1 can Italian whole tomatoes
- 1/2 can tomato paste
- 1 cup vodka
- pinch red pepper flakes
- fresh chopped basil
- 1/2 lb.proscuitto
- 1/2 - 1 cup heavy cream
Rum Sauce for Apple Cake

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 2-3 Tbsp. rum
- dash of nutmeg
Shoo Fly Pie

Preheat over to 375 degrees Dissolve baking soda in hot water and add molasses
- Bottom:
- 1 cup dark molasses (do not use KARO syrup)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- TOP
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup shortening or 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 (9 inch) pastry dough

- 1/2 TBS nutmeg

- Chocolate Fudge Frosting (aka SAUCE!)

- 1/4 cup shortening (butter)
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 2 cups confectioners sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
