1. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 lb. onions, halved & thinly sliced
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 6 strips thick-sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 tsp. red wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. fresh thyme leaves, plus prings for garnish
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground pepper

Line pans with wax paper or grease them
- 3/4 c. soft butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

- 1/4 tsp. salt
