Pork Chops in Creamy Turmeric Sauce

- 1 can (13.5 ounce) coconut milk (400 ml)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice (30 ml)
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce (found in the Asian section of grocery stores) (15 ml)
- 1 small jalapeno, roughly chopped (optional)
- A handful of cilantro leaves
- 1 teaspoon turmeric, plus more to season pork (5 ml)
- 4 boneless pork cutlets or thin pork cops (1/2 inch thick or less) (13 mm)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (15 ml)
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1 head of cauliflower
- Salt, for seasoning

Oven Omelet with Sweet Potato Crust

this was really good - I decided to shred the sweet potato though to use as the crust - I wasn't convinced the slic...
- 1 sweet potato, sliced (I left the peel on mine)
- 6 whisked eggs, farm fresh
- 1/2 finely chopped sauteed onion
- 1 finely chopped sauteed red pepper
- 2 cloves minced sauteed garlic
- 2 cups lightly steamed, thinly sliced broccoli
- 1/2 cup sliced Applegate Farms, Chicken & Red pepper, Breakfast Sausage (1 link)
- 1/2 cup Raw Cheese
- 1/2 cup finely chopped sun dried tomatoes
Spanish Seafood Stew

Very good - one of our favorites! This makes 4 - 3 block zone meals (3 protein, 2 carbs, 3 fat)
- 4 teaspoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons jarred, rinsed garlic
- 3/4 cup roasted peppers, drained and chopped (1 small jar)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry thyme leaves
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sweet paprika
- 3/4 teaspoon saffron (we leave out, this is very expensive)
- kosher salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups clam juice or fat-free chicken stock
- 3/4 cup dry white wine (3 carbs)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 1/2 cup canned italian-style diced tomatoes (1 can)
- 2 1/2 cups french cut green beans ( 2 1/2 carbs)
- 1 1/2 - 9 oz. packages frozen artichoke hearts, thawed
- 3/4 cup canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed (3 carb)
- 12 oz. fresh haddock (we use tilapia)
- 6 oz. raw uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

- 1 Tbsp. granulated garlic
- 1 Tbsp. granulated onion
- 1-1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt or salt
- 3 lb. beef top sirloin steak, about 1-inch thick
- 1 medium ripe avocado, seeded, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup seedless (English) cucumber, coarsely chopped
- 1/3 cup lightly packed fresh mint leaves
- 1/4 cup dairy sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. lime juice

- 1/3 cup (about 3 ounces) tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 – 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 – 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 – 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons tamari
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 ⁄4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 ⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 ⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon chili powder

- 2 14 1/2ounce canreduced-sodium chicken broth
- 2 1/2 cups chopped green sweet peppers (2 large)

Yummy - pork was a bit dried out though - cooked it for the full 9 hours on low - maybe need to adjust the cooking ...
- 2 1/2 - 3 pounds bone-in pork country-style ribs
- 1 12 ounce bottle dark ale or stout or nonalcoholic beer
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon finely shredded lemon peel
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 8 small gold or red potatoes (8 oz. total)
- 12 ounces peeled fresh baby carrots
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Radishes (optional)

- 1/2 cup of Almond Butter (where to buy)
- 1/2 cup of pureed Sweet Potato – Roast them in the oven to soften or throw them in the microwave for 6 minutes (GASP…don’t hate me for still using my microwave!)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or raw honey (where to buy)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (where to buy)
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice (where to buy) or 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
