Quiche Lorraine

This is super tasty. The recipe calls for a pie crust, of course, this can be left out if needed
- 1 nine inch prepared pie crust
- 12 slices of bacon, fried crisp, drained & crumbled
- 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups half & half
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Butterscotch Marble Cake

- 1 package 2-layer-size white cake mix
- 1 4-serving-size package instant butterscotch pudding mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup chocolate-flavored syrup
- 2 ounces sweet baking chocolate, cut up
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon hot water

Grilled Lemon Chicken

- 1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon finely shredded lemon peel (zest)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice

- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Pan-Seared Pork Burgers with Peppers and Mushrooms

Primal Chocolate Chip Cookies

- Wet Ingredients:
- 10 oz. butter
- 2 oz. coconut crystals (by weight)
- 1 oz. Xylitol (by weight) or 1 extra oz. coconut crystals
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 T heavy cream
- 1 T vanilla
- Dry Ingredients:
- 6 oz. almond flour (by weight)
- 5 oz. vanilla flavored protein powder (by weight)
- 1 oz. coconut flour (by weight)
- 1 t salt
- 1 t baking soda
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
Poached Halibut & Peppers

This was super good - used halibut - tilapia would work really well too
- 1-1/2 cups dry white wine (sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio) or chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 2 medium yellow sweet peppers, chopped (1-1/2 cups)
- 3 Tbsp. drained capers
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 4 halibut steaks (1-1/2 to 1-3/4 lb.) or 4 cod or other whitefish fillets
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. basil oil or olive oil
- Coarsely chopped fresh parsley
